Double Award Winners at JP South Business Awards
Guardian Angel Carers, winners of the Observer and Gazette Business Awards 2017 Large Business of the Year and Overall Business of the Year, have reported a hugely successful seven months since taking the double crown at the University of Chichester-sponsored awards earlier this year.
Following on from this success, they also won the same categories at the newspapers’ regional awards, the JP South Business Awards, which were announced in October. The West Sussex based business has been benefitting from being an award winner both within the business and externally.
Not only has the win been a huge moral boost for the team, the publicity has helped Guardian Angel Carers become a well-known name in the care industry and with those looking for care for a loved one. The care company’s continued success enabled them to expand from their Chichester office to a Worthing office earlier this year and now a Horsham office to cover mid-Sussex is being set up too.
Guardian Angel Carers has also benefitted from being able to display the award winner logos on their emails and website, a great credential and real recognition of the work they do. They also report that the accolade helps give other business and individuals the confidence to refer Guardian Angel Carers to those who need them.
Christina Bassadone, Managing Director of Guardian Angel Carers, said: “2017 is proving to be a fantastic year for us. Winning the awards was an inspirational boost for the whole team. Everyone feels really proud of us as a company and we are all so honoured to have our work recognised. I am so proud of each and every one of my members of staff, without whom we wouldn’t have won this award – well done and thank you. We are also delighted with how well our expansion has gone this year, proving a real need for professional care in peoples’ homes.”
Guardian Angel Carers was founded by ex-Olympic sailor Christina in 2012. On hanging up her sails, she returned home to West Sussex to discover that an elderly family friend was receiving home care. Seeing the limited care services on offer, she decided to set up a company that provided compassionate, professional care, and helped clients retain their independence, dignity and individuality. Christina and all the team work tirelessly to ensure that the care offered by Guardian Angel Carers is of the highest standard and that the people whom they provide care services to are able to live their lives to the full.
