Your role as business owner
As a Guardian Angel Carers franchisee, you will be responsible for all business operations. Your first priority will be to build your team and recruitment. We will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support in all areas, enabling you to manage the finances of your business and eventually oversee all efforts around recruitment, HR, training, and marketing. You will lead your own team and ensure that all team members are providing compassionate care that meets the high standards already set by Guardian Angel Carers.
This process involves the hiring and retention of CareAngels who embody the values of Guardian Angel Carers. Human Resources: In addition to meeting the legal HR obligations, you will place huge importance on the support and wellbeing of your team, which in turn promotes retention.

The Registered Care Manager:
An essential part of our service entails registration with the Care Quality Commission, England’s independent regulator of health and social care. Registration with the CQC requires you, as the business owner, to be the ‘Nominated Individual’. Additionally, you will need a ‘Registered Care Manager’ whose role is the first for which you will recruit. Under exceptional circumstances, should you or your business partner have prior industry experience, you or your partner may fulfil this role.
Regardless, the Registered Care Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the care team and facilitate communication between you and your CareAngels. This person will work to ensure that your business is CQC-compliant. As well, the Registered Care Manager will collaborate with the other members of your leadership team to help you grow your business.
