Peace of Mind

Chichester Careline

“We all lead busy lives and don’t necessarily live close enough to visit our loved ones on a weekly basis. This fantastic service provides peace of mind that someone you can trust is visiting regularly, and will report back. Plus, there is Peace of Mind at the touch of a button in case your scheduled visits aren’t enough, after all life can be unpredictable.”

What is Peace of Mind?

Sometimes we don’t know we need help until it’s too late. “Too often we see new clients after a fall or UTI, they’ve been living completely independently at home, but now they’re being discharged from hospital with a high package of care. Our unique Peace of Mind service, in partnership with Chichester Careline, aims to provide early intervention, and give the necessary proactive feedback to family members and health professionals, giving peace of mind for all.” Christina Bassadone, Founder

How does it work?

You will receive a personal alarm from our partners Chichester Careline. In the event you require emergency assistance you can press the alarm, where we will establish if you should be seen by a paramedic or if one of our well trained CareAngels can attend to you (known as our Rapid Response service). Our Rapid Response service ensures we will be with you within the hour for any immediate care you require. Essentially meaning you can pay-as-you-go and use us when you need us, and when you want us.

In addition to the personal alarm, you will receive a minimum of a once per week visit from a care professional / CareAngel. This is an important part of our Peace of Mind service, as it allows us to check on your wellbeing and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate health professional and/or next of kin. It also means you are registered with our service, and should your needs change we will be proactive and responsive, to ensure you receive the care you need. During our weekly visit your CareAngel can assist with a number of domestic duties, shopping, and provide companionship…you need not feel like you are ‘having care’, as we appreciate there can be some stigma and reluctance to accept care support.

Please note: Rapid Response call outs are charged at double our standard rates.
