With custom care plans, our skilled carers bring peace of mind to clients and their families.
For Spelthorne, Elmbridge, Runnymede, and surrounding areas, we offer quality home care in the comfort of your home.
Guardian Angel Carers Spelthorne, Elmbridge and Runnymede started in the summer of 2018 by our Business Owner and Registered Manager Louise Cobban. When we asked Louise why she started this business she said
‘ I was fortunate enough to grow up with my grandparents having an active role in my childhood. I have fond memories of them; such as my grandmother collecting me from school, and helping my grandfather with gardening. Having reached their 90th milestones I saw how it’s now my role to give back. I need to share the love, care and support they gave to me all those years ago’
That overwhelming sense of duty lead to us opening our doors and beginning our service to the Spelthorne, Elmbridge and Runnymede communities.
In May 2020 at the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic we received our first CQC inspection and where overjoyed to receive and overall GOOD and OUTSTANDING in Responsive!
As our team grew and our client base grew we needed a bigger office and wanted to be at the heart of our community and this lead to us relocating from the hustle and bustle of Staines-upon-Thames to join the local businesses of Shepperton on their High Street in April 2022.
Sadly in 2022 also saw the loss of Louise’s grandparents but this has only driven the business further to fulfil a legacy they started and this was encouraged by an awards night in November 2022 at the Spelthorne Business Awards where we scooped Winners in Franchise of the Year sponsored by McDonalds and Runners up in Best Business in Shepperton and Charlton Village sponsored by Shepperton Studios.
We are excited to see what 2026 will bring and continue our commitment to promote independence and improve quality of life for those in our communities.
I live in Chertsey and am a proud mum of three wonderful children. I started my first Guardian Angel Carers franchise in 2018, and now I’m lucky enough to run two. I didn’t come into the care sector straight from school, and looking back, I can’t believe I never even considered it, but now I know it’s exactly where I’m meant to be.
I’m Liz, the Registered Manager at Guardian Angel Carers. I’ve lived and worked in the Berkshire and Surrey areas for over 20 years, building my career in health and social care and supporting people to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes.
I currently work as a Training and Scheduling Coordinator, a role I’ve been in for the past year. I live in Shepperton and am a proud mum to two boys, who keep me constantly on my toes and bring so much joy to my life. I love spending my free time with my little family and making memories together.
My journey into care began in a care home, where I discovered a genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive difference in people’s lives. That early experience shaped my values and confirmed that care is more than a job to me, it’s a calling.
I’m a mum of two grown-up boys who are now out in the world working, but I still spend plenty of time cheering them on from the sidelines of football and rugby pitches. My career started in the busy corporate world with Timberland, but when the boys came along, I happily swapped the fast pace for family life. During those years, I also helped my husband build up his decorating business, juggling school runs with supporting the business behind the scenes.
My name is Jess, and I live in Bedfont with my partner, my son, and my “doggie son” Reggie, our cockerpoo. My biggest achievement is raising my son to be kind, caring, and hardworking. This makes me very proud. I enjoy walking Reggie in the New Forest, horse riding and spending time with my love ones. I started working in retail at 15 years old and spent 16 years at Woolworths, a place everyone loved.
I joined the Guardian Angel Carers family in August 2025 and am lucky enough to work both in the office as the recruiter and out in the field as a Care Angel. After working over 10 years in security, electronics and retail as a National Accounts Co-ordinator, I wanted to feel more useful, so I joined the maintenance team at Chertsey Ambulance station.
We understand every client’s needs are unique. Therefore, we tailor our care services to suit your specific circumstances.

No matter your care plan, our skilled Care Angels will perform their tasks in a friendly, compassionate manner. Also, our clients appreciate the family-feel of our services. We’re here to help you feel comfortable while getting the care you need, in the comfort of your own home.
The service worked in an open and transparent way and built good relationships with healthcare professionals. Staff supported people and their families through hospital admissions and helped them to manage changes in their needs, and at the same time respecting their dignity, privacy and preferences. People were supported to use all available healthcare services and to access the community to maintain their physical and mental health.
Guardian Angel Carers focuses on people first and provides the level of support, patience, kindness, and warmth you expect from your own family. Our carers often develop strong bonds with the individuals they support and can lend a helping hand in diverse ways.
Choosing a local home care provider helps families keep track of the home care their loved one needs and gives them a support network with the flexibility to update care plans or discuss important changes to care that will make a positive difference.
Our hands-on management team implements the highest levels of quality and maintains diligent standards, ensuring that every home carer shares our mission to deliver faultless home care to benefit the local people we support.
For many families, choosing a home care service can be complex, and we are here to help, whether you need advice about the right personal care options or would like a friendly chat about the care you would like.
Please contact us at your convenience, and we’ll be happy to talk through your care requirements and see what we can do to assist.
