Compassionate Care at Home, Enhanced With Thoughtful Technology

Digital home care technology supports our carers. It never replaces them.

We Believe Great Care is Always Personal.

Tech in Care brings together what we do best – warm, professional home care – with simple, discreet technology that adds reassurance, safety and confidence.

It is designed for people who want to remain safely in the comfort of their own home, with professional oversight in place – even when family cannot be there.

Especially helpful for those not yet ready for in-person care, it offers families gentle, non-intrusive reassurance. It’s also a cost-effective long-term option, often cheaper than visiting care at first, and potentially delaying the need for greater support.

What Our Clients Say

What is the Tech in Care service?

Tech in Care (or Technology Enabled Care) is a flexible care service that blends compassionate human support with carefully chosen technology that has been both tested and refined over 5 years.

For some people, it provides reassurance between home care visits. For others, it supports medication routines or helps us notice early changes in wellbeing. For families, it offers peace of mind so your loved one can remain living in their own home, safely, for longer.

Behind every device is a real person – a trained care professional who understands the individual, their routines and what matters most to them.

Is a Digital Home Care Solution Right
for You or Your Loved One?

Tech in Care may be helpful if you or someone close to you:
• Wishes to remain living independently at home
• Needs support managing medication safely
• Would feel more confident with additional reassurance
• Has family members who cannot always be present
• Is returning home after a hospital stay
• Has care needs that may change over time
Every situation is different. That’s why we begin with a conversation – not a device.

What does the Tech in Care service include?

Reassurance Services

Sometimes, what matters most is knowing someone is quietly keeping an eye on things. Our reassurance services use discreet monitoring technology within the home to help us understand daily routines and notice if something changes.

This may include:

  • Monitoring of normal activity patterns
  • A friendly check-in if routines change via a video call through the TV (Families can send photos and videos to the TV & video call their loved one)
  • Optional health monitoring such as blood pressure, oxygen levels, temperature or weight
  • Sharing relevant information with GPs where appropriate
It’s a gentle layer of support – designed to protect independence, not interfere with it

Medication Support

Managing medication can feel overwhelming, especially when prescriptions change or become more frequent. Our medication support service uses a simple, easy-to-use dispensing device to help ensure medication is taken safely and on time.

This includes:

  • Automated medication dispensing
  • Alerts if a dose is missed
  • Video call support from our care professionals for guidance, reassurance and wellbeing check-ins
  • Monthly refills and support with repeat prescriptions

During video calls, we also take the opportunity to check how someone is feeling, ensure they have what they need, and gently monitor overall wellbeing. If we notice changes or have concerns, we communicate with next of kin so families remain informed and reassured.

For many families, this provides valuable support at a stage when a loved one may not feel ready for “carers,” but medication safety is becoming a concern. Families often tell us this service brings enormous relief – restoring confidence, reducing risk and easing daily worry.

Home Care (when additional support is needed)

Technology in home care works best alongside trusted, familiar carers.

If required, discrete technology can be combined with our professional home care services, including:

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Medication administration
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Domestic tasks
  • Transport to appointments and outings
